“Private Portraits Of Living” by COIMA Image & GIOPAGANI
Four Milanese realizations by the renowned architecture and interior design studios, COIMA Image and GIOPAGANI, different personalities, but united by the same intent, the two architecture and interior design studios, have been working side by side for years to design beauty and create unprecedented housing suggestions, between aesthetic experimentations and a dogged search for a new lifestyle. Their collaboration has also resulted in the apartments presented in this book, in what is considered by many to be one of Milan’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, Porta Nuova.
A step away from the sky, with a breathtaking view of the city, COIMA Image and GIOPAGANI offer through exceptional solutions a new housing proposal. As interpreters of haute couture, they “stitched” the rooms with fine finishes, custom-made furniture, sophisticated details and material research. In the four projects presented, aesthetics marries ethics to herald a new way of living.
From the Bosco Verticale to the Solaria and Aria towers, the designers’ hand transforms space as an identity representation of the history of those who live in it. Lots of references to architectural history and sustainability to deepen and show their design process. All different in their look, the four examples, however, have the same starting point, the search for beauty. The continuous dialogue between text and images, in this edit published by Skira Editore, becomes an inner journey that contains reflections that go far beyond design and architecture.

During Art Basel Week, GIOPAGANI unveils his collection at Alcova Miami, transforming the space into a sensory journey where design transcends function. Merging memory with material, his pieces combine organic modernism and Italian craftsmanship, creating timeless elegance. In this ethereal setting, the collection takes center stage, offering a unique exploration of GIOPAGANI’s visionary aesthetic.
